Raymore’s City Council approved the consent agenda and multiple routine items during its Dec. 22 meeting.
The consent agenda (meeting minutes and acceptance of public infrastructure for South Town Storage East) passed without opposition. Council also approved several second readings by unanimous votes, including the rezoning of 1012 South Madison (Bill 4001), a printing contract with Neil Settle Printing Inc. (Bill 4003) and a contract with FASTSIGNS for sign printing services (Bill 4004). The council approved Bill 4005 calling for a general municipal election on April 7, 2026.
Separately, the council adopted Resolution 25-54, granting a one-year extension of the Saddle Brook preliminary plat for the developer to submit subsequent final plats; staff recommended approval based on ongoing work and progress on the first plat. The council also approved the first reading of Bill 4006, which updates Chapter 130 of the Raymore Code to implement changes recommended by the Office of the State Courts Administrator’s municipal review unit (extending certain municipal-judge reporting deadlines and altering appointment procedures for replacement or special judges to involve the Cass County presiding judge). All of those routine items were approved on recorded motions and votes; most carried unanimously (7–0).
