The Granbury City Council on Dec. 16 adopted an ordinance amending the city's master fee schedule to provide for collection of fees related to the Granbury Regional Radio Network. City staff and Councilmember Caulton said Somervell County is joining the radio program, and their addition lowers the monthly rate per device from $20 to $14 for mobile, portable and desktop radios.

"Basically, we've taken on Somerville County as a participant in our radio program, and we're looking forward to them being involved with us," Councilmember Caulton said, adding that the change reduces the per-device monthly rate. A motion to adopt ordinance number 25-78 was made, seconded and announced as passing unanimously.

The ordinance amends Articles 1.5 (section 1.5.0.8) of the City's code of ordinances to reflect the updated fee schedule. The item was presented as routine and passed without further debate.
