The Nantucket Affordable Housing Trust announced it will reissue the year‑round deed‑restriction request for proposals after a minor procurement and finance issue affected the original posting.
During public comment, Teal Biel asked how applicants would be notified and whether those who already submitted materials would have to reapply. Dylan, a housing department staff member, said the town will rerun the RFP and that first‑round applications that met minimum criteria remain under review; applicants who received a rejection would need to reapply. A procurement representative said the procurement office has been contacting applicants if documents were missing and that all communications and reviews will take place through the procurement office.
Town staff told the trust the reissued RFP will be released on Friday, with a Jan. 28 due date. Decisions on applications will follow within 30 days of Jan. 28, staff said. The procurement office contact for the process was identified as Cindy Sue.
The trust did not take a vote on the RFP at the meeting; staff said they will provide follow‑up information and schedule any public evaluation meetings through the procurement office.
