Unidentified Speaker 3, a finance-department representative, said the county launched the Tyler ERP Financial Management System, its first major financial-system upgrade in more than a decade, consolidating legacy systems to centralize financial transactions and reporting.

The speaker said a comprehensive training program accompanied the rollout and early results show more efficient processing and improved accuracy in daily financial operations. Procurement also launched a Vendor Access Portal to make it easier for vendors to access purchase-order status, invoices and checks, the speaker said.
