Planning commission sets hearings for two industrial rezones and reports recent road-name approvals

At the end of its session the Graham County Planning & Zoning Commission set multiple rezoning applications for future public hearings and reported road-name approvals from the Board of Supervisors.
The commission voted to set REZ94525 (APN 10607062), a request by Joby's to rezone property at the southwest corner of Lebanon Loop Road and Highway 191 from AR (agricultural residential) to CM (commercial manufacturing), for the next hearing.
The commission also set REZ94625 (APNs 10921004, 10921005, 10920011), a request by Freeport McMoran to rezone three parcels to AM (Manufacturing) for a rail-car area for chemical handling/unloading, for the next hearing; staff displayed parcel maps and described the proposed rail access and parcel combination plan.
Staff additionally notified commissioners that the Board of Supervisors approved three road names: Portessa Lane (off North Clough Avenue), Markwood Lane (off Stable Drive), and Clearview Drive (off Swift Trail and Dakota Drive). The meeting adjourned shortly after those announcements.
