At the Nov. 13 meeting, the Grand Island Public Schools Board of Education moved into executive session for the purposes of negotiations and to discuss the superintendent's contract. An unidentified board member moved to convene executive session; Miss Albers seconded, and the motion passed.
After the closed session, the board moved to reconvene; the mover and second were the same and the motion to reconvene passed. The board announced there were no actions arising from the executive session that evening.
The meeting adjourned and the next regular board meeting was announced for Jan. 8, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
