Sylvania planning commission approves final plat for The Patriot at 4713 King Road

The Sylvania Municipal Planning Commission voted Dec. 10 to approve the final plat for The Patriot subdivision at 4713 King Road in the R1 zoning district.
Gregory Feller of Feller Finch and Associates presented the final plat, told the commission city comments had been addressed and the mylar had been returned, and said construction on the project is complete: "Construction's done," he said, explaining that once the plat is approved and recorded the owner intends to begin selling lots. City engineering staff confirmed outstanding engineering comments had been incorporated into the drawings and there were no objections to recording.
On a motion and second, commissioners approved the final plat by voice vote. Commissioners and staff discussed logistics for signing the mylar; the chair was instructed to sign and return it so recording can proceed. Staff said the mylar would be available at the city building and that Debbie would coordinate with the applicant on pickup and recording.
Next steps: the chair will sign the mylar and the plat will be recorded; after recording the owner may market and sell lots per the approved subdivision documents.
