County staff provided a status update on the Pulaski County courthouse renovation project, reporting limited remaining contingency and pending finish‑work invoices.
The project manager said there were no change orders to report and an owner's contingency of $4,000. Remaining non‑construction allocation balances include about $14,224.84 in the furniture, fixtures and equipment line, $464.94 in rent and mover, and $6,246.20 in the IT line. The manager anticipated $10,000–$11,000 in charges to cover presumed final furniture delivery and additional signage orders and said some finishing tasks (window caulking, permanent doors, exterior work) are on hold until the contingency is released.
Staff noted planned moves of CDC office equipment and IT on a scheduled date and potential minor audiovisual improvements such as supplemental speakers and cameras once funds allow. No change orders or contract disputes were reported.
Next steps: staff expects a near‑term invoice that should be one of the final bills before the construction contingency is released and will proceed with scheduled furniture delivery and IT moves.
