Pulaski County approves several reappointments and names Parker Fox to Economic Development Commission

Pulaski County’s joint session confirmed several board and commission appointments and reappointments.
Nathan presented a slate of council reappointments: Katie Biram, Brian Ledley and Isaiah Tidwell for one‑year terms on the redevelopment commission effective Jan. 1, 2026, and Christy Nicholson for a two‑year term on the tourism advisory council. The council moved and carried the reappointments and the tourism advisory appointment.
On nominations to the Economic Development Commission (EDC), the council nominated Parker Fox for a four‑year term effective Feb. 1, 2026. The commissioners later moved, seconded and approved Parker Fox for the EDC four‑year term; two commissioners recorded opposing votes on that particular motion.
Other reappointments approved by the commissioners included Commissioner McClure and Jason Pothoff to four‑year terms on the advisory commission on industrial development, and several one‑year reappointments to the redevelopment commission and a non‑voting advisory seat for Joe Cunningham.
Next steps: appointees’ terms take effect on the dates presented; staff will update rosters and notify affected boards.
