Angracia said the personnel department has held initial meetings with unions but does not yet have any signed agreements; the department’s goal is to have agreements in place by February. Staff are reviewing job descriptions and existing grade classifications so the committee can assess whether comparable adjustments should be made for committee and Board staff if the civil-service changes proceed.
Angracia said she will keep the committee informed as agreements are reached and as the department completes its review of job descriptions and grade assignments. Committee members did not raise substantive questions that led to formal direction during the meeting.
