Granite County commissioners approved task order #14 with Great West Engineering Dec. 9 to develop a community wildlife protection plan.
Commission staff said funds are in place and Great West was lined up to complete the work; the acting chair asked for a motion, which was made and seconded. A representative who introduced themselves said, “I’ll be working with Jackie on this plan,” and commissioners approved the task order by voice vote.
The project will proceed per the task order, with Great West and county staff coordinating public outreach and plan milestones. The board signed authorizing documents during the meeting.
