City receives clean audit for fiscal year 2023–24

The external auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion and reported no current‑year findings. Auditors noted prior‑year findings—particularly procurement policy issues—were addressed by the newly adopted procurement manual.
The auditor reviewed ancillary reports required by federal and transportation grant programs and a single audit for any major federal program exceeding the single‑audit threshold. The auditor confirmed those reports are also clean and said the city will post the audit documents on its website following council acceptance.
Council thanked finance staff; the council accepted the audit and related reports on a unanimous roll call.
