Presenters emphasized that the district does not separate cyberbullying from other bullying for reporting purposes.
Trustees asked whether parents understand outcomes after cases escalate to the district level. Presenters said they walk parents through investigatory checklists and reconcile campus documentation with referral records; staff said most parents leave district‑level meetings understanding the steps taken. Administrators also encouraged anonymous reporting tools and described student‑led prevention efforts, such as poster contests and classroom activities, that emphasize upstander behavior.
No formal board action was required; staff said the bullying materials are available on the district website and will continue to be used to guide campus investigations and parent support.
