Council discussed the warranty, transport, and that the purchase price effectively offsets the sale of the ladder truck.
The sale resolution (moved by Miss Berkley, seconded by Mister Weiss) does not name a specific buyer; the solicitor said the resolution authorizes sale to a governmental agency at or above the listed price (reported as at least $250,000) and that council will return for a follow‑up resolution when a definitive sale agreement is executed.
Both measures passed unanimously (7‑0). Council said finance staff would complete the follow‑up documentation.
