She said PlayLab lessons incorporate map making, dramatic play, building and read‑alouds and that materials for consistent implementation across the district were purchased with educational‑initiative funds. "Students were happy. They were engaged. They were having fun. They were learning," she said.
Crawford also said the district hired instructional assistants (one per elementary building) to support kindergarten teachers and that administrators will continue to collect teacher feedback and share photos and classroom examples.
No formal action was taken; administration will continue to report classroom observations and implementation notes to the committee.
