The board also approved draining Lake Marys for roughly a month beginning in December to allow dock and public-side maintenance and to reduce algae, with the county working with the Department of Natural Resources on timing and fisheries concerns. Staff said pump rental was arranged and that the drawdown would occur in coordination with rain events.
