At its Dec. 15 meeting the Robertson County Commission approved multiple routine agenda items, including a rezoning, appointments, surplus declarations and a set of budget and grant resolutions.
Planning reported that the planning commission recommended a 5–0 approval of Resolution 121525099 to rezone 4.68 acres at 4030 Armstrong Road (parcel 190.008) from AG2 to RP-80; the county moved and passed that resolution by voice vote (transcript shows the outcome as "22 4 0").
The nominating committee presented two appointments: David Peach to fill the remainder of highway commissioner Willie Peach’s term and Megan Baird as the county representative to the airport board replacing Jerry Converse. Both appointments were approved by voice vote after being recommended by the nominating committee.
Budget-chair Bobby Couch presented a series of budget-related resolutions including funding to cover a retirement payout, election-related funding to replace a resigned official, and sheriff’s department grant approvals. The commission also approved Resolution 121525104 to reallocate ambulance-service line items to fund additional part-time staffing for an ambulance station and approved a miscellaneous-funds resolution to repair equipment used for tax collections.
Commissioners also approved a resolution declaring Board of Education equipment surplus and a tax-rounding resolution that authorizes the county trustee to round ad valorem property taxes and interest to the nearest dollar; staff cited Tennessee Code Annotated (67-5-102) as authority for the rounding process. Multiple items were recorded as passed by voice vote in the transcript.
The meeting concluded with additional routine matters — notary appointments and final motions to adjourn.
