Ivana Higdon, owner of White Orchid Day Spa in Peachtree City, described how she bought a local salon in 2017, rebranded and relocated it in 2022, and built a facility with a broad range of customized wellness and beauty services.
Higdon said she purchased the business that was formerly operated as EC Puri in 2017 and ‘‘decided to relocate it and rebranded the business to become White Orchid Day Spa’’ in 2022. She identified herself as an aesthetician and statistician and said her goal was ‘‘to create a very peaceful place with really upscale treatments but very relaxing and warm and inviting environment.’’
She urged potential customers to tour the space so they can ‘‘see what we offer’’ and said the spa offers packaged and discounted services for returning clients, including massage and facials. ‘‘We do offer discounts for those clients who are returning,’’ Higdon said, and added that consultations are used to design individualized treatments because ‘‘one size fits all’’ does not apply.
Higdon said the spa invests in ongoing staff training and high-end products. She listed specialized equipment and services the facility provides: an open-concept saltwater flow therapy, a Vichy shower for full-body exfoliation, a head spa, infrared sauna, spray tints, and a range of hair services including men’s and children’s cuts. ‘‘You can't find a place in this location where we will have everything under one roof,’’ she said.
Describing Peachtree City as having ‘‘a strong community feel,’’ Higdon asked residents for support and invited former customers to return. ‘‘Please do come back, come to see us, or come back to see us, if you've been before, and we can treat you of the care and respect that you deserve,’’ she said.
No formal actions or requests for city approvals were recorded in the transcript; the remarks appear to be a business introduction and an appeal for community patronage.
