The Adelanto Elementary School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the fiscal year 2025–26 first interim report at its Dec. 12 meeting.

Trustees and staff noted that state and county requirements require approval by Dec. 15 to avoid fines; district fiscal staff prepared the presentation for the Dec. 9 meeting and returned materials for final approval. Trustee remarks acknowledged potential third‑ and fourth‑year uncertainties that depend on the state budget and encouraged collaboration to mitigate fiscal risks. Trustee comments also noted the need for a chief business officer to lead financial operations.

After discussion and thanks to fiscal staff, the board voted 5–0 to approve the interim report.
