City council rezones Lot 13 in Woodside Business Park to B-2 for proposed State Farm office

Mister Connor explained the property had reverted to R-1 under a reversionary zoning clause but the city subsequently amended that clause so a new B-2 designation would remain if approved.
The public hearing was opened and immediately closed with no substantive public comment recorded. Council member (speaker 4) moved to adopt the ordinance; the motion was seconded and a roll-call vote recorded unanimous 'Yes' responses from Smith, Gustafson, Ramsey, Wynne, Bravner and the mayor. The council adopted Ordinance 7-29-2025; staff said the owner plans to develop the site as a State Farm office.
