Dr. Sosa, who led the presentation, said districtwide participation in state assessments exceeded the state's 95% requirement and that RUSD's English language arts indicator "increased by 6.4 DFS, and we had a positive color change from orange to yellow." He said mathematics increased by 4.5 DFS (Orange to Yellow) and that the new science indicator showed a baseline district score of 51.7 science points with positive growth across student groups.
