Staff said early fall math and reading reports provide item‑level information to teachers through Illuminate (showing which questions students answered correctly) and allow targeted instruction.
The assistant superintendent also said the California School Dashboard will add a tile showing the percentage of teachers with clear credentials; she cited the district’s figure of 93.5% and noted that will now be easier for the public to find.
Trustees asked about the meaning of fall scores measured against end‑of‑year standards and how teachers use item analyses to plan instruction; staff explained these snapshots are end‑of‑year‑referenced diagnostics used to guide instruction and subsequent screening/diagnostic tools can provide more granular tracking over the year.
