A 2022 radar placement showed 52% of northbound vehicles and 67.5% of southbound vehicles exceeding the 30 mph limit in one sample; after staff installed two‑way stop controls at Townson/Terminal (rather than installing a speed bump), a more recent traffic count (11/04/2025–11/17/2025) showed northbound speeding at approximately 10% and southbound at 26%.
Staff said the committee reviews complaints each month, considers radar and accident data, and evaluates signage or striping changes. Residents should report concerns through the public works email or phone line to place items on the traffic committee agenda.
