Court reappoints ITA board members and approves corporate name change to Bowling Green ITA Inc.

The Warren County fiscal court on Dec. 18 approved Order 25-38 reappointing Sue Perrigan, Eric Walker and Rick Wilson to the board of the Intermodal Transportation Authority (ITA) and voted to approve Resolution 25-22 consenting to an amendment and restatement of the ITA’s articles of incorporation to change the corporate name to Bowling Green ITA Inc.
Gaines Pen, appearing for the ITA, told the court the change is intended to more accurately reflect the authority’s role in supporting economic development countywide beyond the original Kentucky TransPark project and that staff would file the appropriate paperwork with the state.
The court discussed consolidation of oversight for multiple economic-development parcels under one board rather than several smaller boards; no objections were raised and the motion to consent to the name change and to reappoint board members passed on roll call.
Next steps: County staff will file the amended articles of incorporation with the state as authorized by the resolution.
