The Roseville City Council filled several vacancies during its Dec. 17 meeting, appointing candidates to citizen oversight and advisory bodies.
City Clerk Katrina presented applications and the council voted to appoint Lori Benitez to the Local Sales Tax Citizens Oversight Committee (term to 06/30/2029). The council selected Ed Kris (Ed Chris in the record) for a partial Planning Commission term expiring 06/30/2026 and appointed John Carrier to the Public Utilities Commission (term expiring 06/30/2028). The council also appointed Jeffrey Gold and Gerald Feinerman to the Senior Commission (terms expiring 12/31/2026) following a consolidation.
The clerk confirmed ballots and each appointment was finalized by roll call. There was no extended public comment on the appointments; council members offered brief acknowledgements to the appointees.
The appointments will be reflected in city records and the appointees are expected to assume duties per the term dates stated on the record.
