The Chesterfield County Finance Committee entered executive session on Dec. 15 to discuss personnel matters related to the solicitor’s office, then approved a motion to forward a hiring recommendation to the County Council.

After reconvening in open session, S3 moved that the committee take to County Council the discussion about hiring another solicitor for the solicitor's office; S2 seconded and the motion carried by voice vote.
