Knox County commissioners approve several appointments, roadwork payments and equipment purchases

The board also authorized use of ODOT contract pricing to purchase a 2027 Western Star tandem-chassis truck for $152,789 and awarded a pavement-marking construction contract in the amount of $103,661.80.
Other administrative approvals included an implementation agreement for a county lender and recycling prevention office (contract referenced in meeting materials) and an update to Annex P of the Knox County Emergency Operations Plan; both actions required signatures and were approved by the board.
