He also described the value of a public pool, saying it would provide recreation and seasonal jobs for teens. Casbaum suggested the sports complex near the board's meeting location as a potential site and offered to help move the ideas forward.
Commissioners thanked Casbaum for the suggestions; the meeting record shows no immediate motion or staff assignment to act on either proposal at this session.
