San Bernardino County announced two community events for early January.

Regional Parks will host a one-day Trout Derby at Prado Regional Park on Saturday, Jan. 10. Gates open at 6:30 a.m.; the derby runs from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants may prepay derby fees online. Derby fees were listed at $20 per person and $15 per vehicle. A fishing license is required for participants 16 years and older.

The Department of Behavioral Health will hold a Behavioral Health Services Act Community Program Planning meeting on Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Behavioral Health Services Auditorium in Rialto. The county invites residents, providers, advocates and community partners to attend and share ideas to help shape behavioral health priorities across the county.
