Mayor declares Columbus North boys cross country day after seventh straight state title

"On the front of our jersey it says Columbus first and foremost, so we feel like we represent our school and our town everywhere we go," a team member said.
The council posed for photos with the team and wished them luck at the national meet; no formal council action was required for the ceremonial proclamation.
