Council aides Tanisha Dixon and Andre Henry summarized outreach and events: 72 events citywide in 2025 including a gospel jam at Stock Park, a safety day that distributed Ring cameras (sponsored by Councilwoman Dolores A. Gunn, Ward 2), and continuing constituent liaison work across all wards.
Recreation Director Maxwell said youth sports grew substantially — soccer enrollment increased to 18 teams per age group, baseball programs continued, and a new flag football league for ages 4–12 launched. Maxwell also noted legacy resident trips and a Legacy Ball scheduled for the following evening.
Dennis and other speakers also described Main Street programming and the Best of Forest Park awards as efforts to support local businesses. Officials encouraged volunteers for youth sports and directed readers to registration and volunteer contacts through the recreation department.
