District celebrates record number of Tennessee Reward Schools and names teachers and principals of the year

The board used the Dec. 8 meeting to celebrate student and staff achievements across Robertson County Schools.
Dr. Weeks and other board members recognized five Tennessee Reward Schools and thanked County Commissioners Martin Morgan and Faith Stubblefield for joining the celebrations. The meeting listed multiple honorees by school for support staff of the year, novice teacher awards, teacher of the year and principal of the year. District winners were named for elementary, middle and high school categories.
Board members and attendees applauded the honorees and district leadership emphasized the awards reflect broad staff effort, student achievement and attention to attendance and growth metrics. Multiple principals, teachers and staff were invited forward for photos and certificates.
