Wilson County’s veterans services officer detailed caseload trends, recent program spending and plans for expanded outreach during the commissioners’ Dec. 22 meeting.
“We did change our mission statement, to be more exact of the services that we are providing,” Veterans Services Officer Raya Eda told the court, as she walked commissioners through a quarter-to-date report for fiscal year 2024–25. Eda said the office currently had 166 open files and had closed 382 files in the fiscal year and that precincts 2 and 3 led in client volume.
