Board rescinds Neola policies and adopts consolidated replacements

The Green Local Schools Board of Education approved, on second reading, rescission of selected Neola board policies and adoption of consolidated replacement policies intended to keep district governance documents current with state legislative changes.

Superintendent staff said the revisions are mostly administrative updates driven by changes in state law and that Neola — the district’s policy service — provides attorney recommendations used to keep the district’s policies current. The board approved the rescission and the new and revised policies by unanimous vote.

The district said the updated policies will be posted on the school website following finalization.
