Grace Village clarified the requested funds would be used solely for the purchase of food for the pantry, not for staff salaries or overhead. Trustees discussed discretionary-fund balances and other pending requests; one trustee noted a board discretionary balance of $17,262 and asked whether other grantees were expected to request funds before year-end.
Following discussion, a trustee moved to approve the discretionary-fund request; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call.
