Lee County assessor sets Dec. 31 publication; appeals due Jan. 30

Lee County’s assessor told the executive committee that the office has completed the 2024 assessment changes and will turn the files over for publication with a December 31 publication date and a January 30 appeals deadline.
"We have officially wrapped up our 2025 assessment changes, 2024 assessment changes… Publication date is going to be December 31, with a filing deadline for appeals that will be January 30 based on that December 31 publication date," Jennifer said. She told the committee notices will be mailed and board-of-review hearings will occur after January 30.
The assessor did not provide further numeric breakdowns of parcels affected or dollar impacts during the presentation. The committee offered thanks and had no questions recorded.
Next steps: the assessor's office will mail notices to property owners, publish assessments, and schedule board-of-review hearings following the Jan. 30 deadline.
