The Town of Lake Clarke Shores Code Enforcement Board voted Dec. 4 to record a certified order imposing a lien on the property subject to Case 25-0202, which names Celeste Campino and Jeremy Speckman as the listed property owners.
Code Enforcement Officer Eric Richwagen told the board he has had no contact with Speckman, the current property owner, or with Campino and that “as of today, the violation still exists and the fines continue to run.” He said the building department shows no permits on file for the property. Eric also told the board the outstanding amount on the account was “approximately $25,000.”
Following discussion about the lack of contact and prior violations, a board member moved to have a certified copy of the order to impose a lien recorded in the public records of Palm Beach County; the motion was seconded and carried on a voice vote with no opposition noted.
Recording the lien will place the town’s assessed fines and related costs as a public encumbrance on the property; the board did not set a payment schedule at the hearing. Board staff said further administrative steps will follow to place the lien in the county’s public records.
The case remains under the board’s enforcement docket; the lien recording is the immediate enforcement step approved at the Dec. 4 hearing.
