The commission also considered a budgeted operational purchase: a pull‑behind air compressor from Mid South Equipment for $19,110.95 (Resolution No. 25‑1863). Staff said the purchase is shared between the street and stormwater divisions and replaces an aging unit that is difficult to maintain.
Separately, the commission held first readings on an amendment to the municipal code on air pollution (Title 20, Chapter 1) and on an ordinance to appoint an interim substitute judge for a limited 30‑day cycle; those items were presented as first readings and will return for subsequent consideration. No final votes on ordinances were recorded during the work session.
