Board approves minutes, consent items, policies, payment of bills and personnel actions unanimously

At its Nov. 18, 2025 regular meeting at West Hamlin Elementary, the Lincoln County Board of Education approved a series of routine actions by unanimous votes.

The board first approved the minutes on a motion by Mrs. Burns, seconded by Mr. Mosteller; roll call votes recorded five yes votes and the motion carried. The consent agenda (items a–c) passed on a motion by Mr. Cartwright, seconded by Mrs. Burns, with a 5–0 vote. Policy items on 30-day review and several revisions were moved by Mr. Cartwright and seconded by Miss McComas and approved 5–0. The board then authorized payment of bills on a motion by Mrs. Burns, seconded with the motion carrying 5–0.

Personnel items listed on the blue sheet (agenda items a–l) were approved on a motion by Mr. Cartwright and a second; the roll call reflected unanimous support. The meeting concluded with an adjournment motion by Mr. Mosteller, second by Mr. Cartwright, and the board recorded a unanimous vote to adjourn.

All recorded motions and votes during this meeting were carried by voice or roll-call as noted in the official record; no items were defeated or tabled at the Nov. 18 session.
