Bruceville-Eddy council approves consent agenda, enters executive session on BRCT LLC

The Bruceville-Eddy City Council approved its consent agenda unanimously after a motion and second were recorded.
A council member moved to approve the consent agenda, which included approval of minutes from special meetings, October 2025 financial reports, FY2025 budget amendments and acceptance of a $13.62 and $0.50 donation to the utility relief fund from Bruceville-Eddy United Methodist Church. The motion was seconded and the council voted unanimously to approve the consent items.
The council then announced it would meet in executive session under Texas Government Code Section 551.071 to consult with the city attorney regarding BRCT, LLC, doing business as BlackRock Construction. The chair closed the regular session to go into executive session. After the executive session a speaker stated the matter had been "discussed and resolved." The meeting then moved toward adjournment.
At the meeting the council also presented a plaque recognizing Pam for 10 years of service to the city; the transcript contains two different last names (Pam Combs and Pam Collins) when the plaque was presented; that discrepancy is noted here because the transcript is inconsistent on spelling.
