During the board's organizational meeting trustees completed officer elections and representative appointments for the coming year. A trustee nominated Maddie Cloud for president; Cloud accepted and trustees voted to elect her president for the next term. Trustee Williams accepted the nomination for clerk/vice president and was confirmed by the board. The board also appointed the superintendent and the executive aide to serve as board secretaries; trustees thanked the appointees for their service.

The board then appointed Trustee Ellen Webster as the district representative to the Sonoma County Committee on School District Organization by unanimous vote.

The organizational decisions were handled by motion and roll call; no opposition was recorded.
