The following actions were recorded during the Dec. 30 Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors meeting.

Claims and payments: County staff reported total bill payments of $209,705.19 (including retainage releases to Peters Construction and two payments totaling roughly $86,000). The board moved, seconded and approved the claims and payments.

Minutes: The board approved the Dec. 23, 2025 minutes by motion and voice vote.

Consent agenda: The consent agenda was presented and approved by roll call; no items were pulled for separate consideration.

Resolution — Courthouse renovation (Project 24-01a): The board approved a 'Statement of Completion' for the Black Hawk County Courthouse Renovation Project completed by Pierce Construction in Waterloo, Iowa, with a total project cost of $1,695,188.98 and directed the chair to sign the paperwork.

Personnel requisition: The board approved a personnel requisition to replace a full-time property maintenance assistant (position effective 01/05/2026) following the departure of TJ Norton.

FY26 Q services funding (Option 10): After discussion and a roll-call vote the board approved Option 10 and directed staff to include reimbursement documentation and to define low-income eligibility for funded providers in contract language.
