At its Dec. 9 meeting, the Elkhart City Board of Public Safety approved routine administrative items including the claims and allowance docket, prior meeting minutes and the communications month-end report, and heard brief public appreciation remarks.

Speaker 1 moved to approve the claims docket of $138,251.82 dated Dec. 3, 2025 (8 pages), and the board recorded the item as approved. The board also approved the Nov. 25 meeting minutes, placed the communications report for November 2025 on file, and approved Police Merit Commission meeting minutes from Oct. 27, 2025.

During public participation a member of the public (Speaker 1) offered holiday-season thanks to city departments, saying: "I just wanna wish everybody a happy holiday season... thank you for all you guys do." Speaker 2 thanked departments and reminded members that much of the work is unseen.

With no further business, Speaker 1 moved to adjourn and Speaker 2 closed the meeting.
