The Mobile City Council voted to approve a modification to a previously approved planned unit development (PUD) for property at 560 Providence Park Drive East. The council opened a public hearing on the item and heard from Casey Pipes, who said the land is currently vacant and that the applicant seeks to construct an apartment complex. Pipes told the council the plan had been considered by the planning commission and that 19 conditions accompanied the recommended approval; he said the applicant accepts those conditions and was present to answer questions.

After public comment closed with no additional speakers, the council moved, seconded and voted to approve the PUD modification on first consideration. No amendments to the conditions were recorded at this meeting.
