County staff presented three proposals for the Oklahoma County Courthouse roof replacement (Next Level Roofing, Pet Commercial, and SuperRoofs) and said interviews were conducted. The infrastructure committee voted on Dec. 22 to recommend the Board of County Commissioners reject all bids because pricing exceeded the county’s expectation.

Speaker 4 told the board the committee recommendation was to reject and rebid the project; Speaker 1 called for a motion and the board voted to reject the bids. Staff advised the project will be rebid around April 1. No further substantive debate or public comment was recorded at the time of the vote.

The action preserves the county’s option to restructure the solicitation and return to the board with a new bidding timeline.
