Jan Ledbetter said the acoustics report for the townhouse was received Dec. 24 and has been forwarded to board members; she asked that the town post the report on the website and said the board would schedule a final Zoom call with the acoustical engineer to clarify recommendations and seek ballpark cost estimates for proposed fixes (items cited included a stage rug and new chairs).
Road Agent Chris and other members raised confusion among residents about the sand/salt pile: some residents were taking the wrong material and others were unsure of the allowable quantity. The board agreed to post clear signage reiterating the policy (noted historically as three 5-gallon buckets per resident) and to provide clearer online guidance so residents understand the distinction between sand and salt and the intended personal-use limit.
On facilities, Olivia reported contacting a locksmith to repair the schoolhouse back door and will supply photos to the locksmith so the vendor can identify the required handle type. The board also discussed mice inside the townhouse and agreed to remove perishable food items and store supplies in refrigerated containers rather than use poison.
In closing remarks, a member announced they will not run for reelection because of health concerns and asked colleagues to suggest potential candidates; the meeting then adjourned.
