Fremont County announces multiple job openings, temporary bridge closure and upcoming budget meeting

At the start of the meeting, Assistant County Administrator Sean Sutton presented routine county business items including current job vacancies, a transportation closure, and conference takeaways.
Sutton listed open positions and deadlines: a Pathfinder Park event coordinator (closes Dec. 15, 2025); detention deputy (closes Dec. 29, 2025) and detention center sergeant (closes Dec. 22, 2025) in the Fremont County Sheriff's Office; a Department of Health prevention programs coordinator (closes Dec. 15, 2025); and an ongoing Department of Human Services social caseworker posting that the county said closes on Jan. 5, 2026. On county roads, Sutton announced that Bridge 209 A on County Road 19 (also known as Silent Road) will be closed to foot, bike and vehicle traffic from Monday, Dec. 8, 2025 through Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025 while crews make repairs. Detours will direct traffic to County Road 106.
Commissioners also reminded the public of a special December budget meeting scheduled for 9 a.m. next Tuesday and encouraged residents with budget interest to attend. The announcements were informational and no policy or budget decisions were taken during this portion of the meeting.
