The Madison County Board of Supervisors approved several personnel resolutions and a benefits update in a cluster of votes.

The board approved EMS hiring resolutions including part-time hires (M. Krauss and K. Rynek at $20/hour), a part-time EMT (C. Hayes at $16/hour) effective Nov. 29, and a full-time paramedic (T. Curtis at $22.47/hour) effective Dec. 14. The board also approved a hiring resolution for a full-time truck driver in the secondary roads department (B.J. Crayce at $27.68/hour effective Nov. 17).

Separately, the board reviewed and approved updates to the county's Wellmark benefits binder, effective Jan. 1, 2026; an HR contact noted additions such as gender-affirming services and updated prescription language as part of the proposed changes.

Each resolution was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The board also voted to table the hiring decision for outside audit services until Dec. 9 to allow time for review of sealed bid packets.
