Mitchell County board approves $4.5 million urban renewal bond resolution for local projects

"This has to do with the Mitchell County conservation project, the state's local kids care project, pay for the home project, and then just city project, and then, the historical society," the member said.
The motion to approve the resolution was made and seconded during the meeting and the board recorded ayes from members including Sydney, Jim, Scott and Mark; the chair declared the motion passed.
The board did not provide detailed line-item allocations at the meeting; the member who summarized the projects said earlier approvals (the historical society project) were incorporated into this bond resolution. No roll-call tally of all supervisors was read into the record beyond the listed ayes.
