After closed session, supervisors set county engineer salary at $151,000

The board voted to enter closed session and later returned to open session at 10:17 a.m. After the closed session a motion was made and approved to set the county engineer's annual salary at $151,000 effective Jan. 1; the motion included language that the salary is subject to any increases the board grants other employees in the 2027 budget and that the position will receive an annual review.
Supervisors voted 'aye' on the motion after which they thanked the county engineer for his service. No additional personnel details were disclosed in open session.
